Bruno Mars – Underrated?

Maybe Bruno Mars has just been underrated by me, and the rest of the world actually has been on the train for a while. But now I have given in, he is SO talented. I rarely listen to the radio so the first time I was introduced to a lot of his songs was when others sang them on The Voice. Before he became popular as a solo artist, he was an acknowledged music producer, writing lyrics for B.O.B, Travie McCoy, Flo Rida, and Adam Levine among many others. He was part of a lot of popular hits and then put out his solo album in 2010, Doo-Wops & Hooligans. His next album came out in December 2012 called Unorthodox Jukebox. These great albums brought us the songs It Will Rain, Just the Way You Are, Grenade, The Lazy Song, and Locked out of Heaven. Who doesn’t know these songs? He has been a very busy man. He did win a Grammy for Just the Way You Are but that is his only Grammy, though he has been nominated many times. Overall, he has received 31 different awards out of 113 nominations. The Grammys aren’t everything (obviously, since Chris Brown got one last year), but I really hope he wins a couple this year. He at least needs some huge recognition for the song When I Was Your Man. I’m posting the video below because I. LOVE. IT.   ~Dutch
